Title: Blog Entry #5.9C - PSA Concept
Title of your PSA: Violence Prevention
What is the main topic of your PSA? To stop people from getting abused or beaten up
Target audience: Young teens and women
What solution will your PSA promote? For violence to stop and to have safer neighborhoods
What is your tag line? Stop the violence
What will we see happening in your PSA? What is the story? (At least one paragraph, if not more! Be extremely detailed!) In our PSA you will see lestons on gangs and the violence and drama that comes along with them. In any gang you join there are only two ways out either death or jail. In jail you are still not safe because there is always going to be a bigger badder gang with someone in it that chooses to make your life miserable.

Cody Wiggins 3/19/10
- What is a public service announcement (PSA)? An announcement for public interest to stop physical & verbal abuse to others doings.
- Describe an example of a PSA you have seen before. A PSA I’ve seen before was about animal cruelty and in the video they showed animals with their ribs showing and scarred up beaten down animals.
- What social benefit is promoted by the PSA you selected in question 2? People will stop saying things about stuff that can be offensive to others. Or people will stop saying things that mean words that can offend certain groups of people.
- Nike's tagline is "Just Do It." In your own words, what is a tagline? A tagline is like a slogan to get people to do things.
- Name another famous product or company and its tagline. Gatorade is a famous product, and its tagline is get energized.
- What social issues do you feel strongly about? I feel strongly about animal cruelty. I feel sad about it because animals don’t do anything to deserve the beatings they receive and it pains me because there is nothing they can do about it.
